6月2日 ファッション・デザイナー・オブ・アメリカの授賞式がニューヨークの公共図書館（New York Public Library）で開かれた。今年度のウーマンズウェア・デザイナー・オブ・ザ・イヤーには「カルバン・クライン（Calvin Klein）」のフランシスコ・コスタが、、メンズウェア・デザイナー・オブ・ザ・イヤーには「トム・フォード（Tom Ford）」が輝いた。マーク・ジェイコブス（Mark Jacobs）は惜しくも賞を逃したが、ヴィクトリア・ベッカム（Victoria Beckham）と共に会場に現れた。ヴィクトリアは、勿論マークがデザインしたハートモチーフのドレスを身にまとっていた。他、出席者:エヴァ・ロンゴリア/エヴァ・メンデス/マギー・ギレンホール/LLクールJ/アシュレー・オルセン/ラルフローレン/アンナ・ウィンター/ナオミ・キャンベル/リルキム etc… Awards were held at the New York Public library.
