AMBUSH® for SHU UEMURA Tokyo Launch Party

「美しいメイクアップは美しい素肌からはじまる」、村上隆に続きコスメブランド「shu uemura」がジュエリーブランド「AMBUSH®」とのコラボレーション「AMBUSH® for シュウ ウエムラ」を発表。4月26日から順次発売される「AMBUSH® for シュウ ウエムラ」は、平坦な毎日は脱ぎ捨てて、大胆に力強く「Stay Gold」をコンセプトにパッケージやポイントとなるアクセントにもゴールドを多用したアイテムを展開。

ローンチに先駆けて開催された昨夜のお披露目では、フランス人映像監督/フォトグラーの Leo Berne(レオ・ベルン)が撮り下ろしたデジタルキャンペーンが公開され、スペインからは Sita Abellan(シタ・アベラン)がこの日のために来日、シュウウエムラ・インターナショナル・アーティスティック・ディレクターの打出角康によるメイクショーでは、AMBUSH® の “SURPLUS SOUND SYSTEM” を身にまとったモデルが登場し新たな美学を提供。

Last night Tokyo toasted the launch of AMBUSH® for SHU UEMURA, the LVMH prize finalist jewelry and apparel brand following on from Takashi Murakami in collaborating with the L’Oreal owned Japanese cosmetics brand. The gathered crowd was as colourful as the pops of colour used in the collection – Tokyo DJ Lisa Chris opened for specially invited guest Sita Abellan on the decks. The backdrop was a digital campaign shot by Léo Berne and styled by Tokyo Dandy’s Joe, set to roll out over Shu Uemura’s social media platforms in the coming weeks. Kakuyasu Uchide, Artistic Director of Shu Uemura, put the products on display in a make-up presentation after which AMBUSH® Designer YOON joined him to take a bow. AMBUSH® for SHU UEMURA will be released April 26 in Japan before rolling out globally through May.
