British Vogue by Edward Enninful #NEWVOGUE

In what as seen as a contemporary image overhaul, ‘New Vogue’, the first issue of Vogue under Editor Edward Enninful has been released with cover star Adwoa Aboah Photographed by Steven Meisel and styled by the EIC himself.

Highlighting the all-white ‘posh girl’ staff of the former Vogue regime, British Vogue is set to be staffed by and feature a more diverse range of people to reflect contemporary British culture. We’ve yet to get our hands on a copy, but the contents of this British themed issue look as strong as the cover itself. Naomi Campbell interviews London Mayor Sadiq Kahn, Zayn Malik talks about his home town Bradford as Burberry’s Christopher Bailey visits the town in Yorkshire where he’s from. Diversity here doesn’t just mean race… it’s both generational and background based too. That’s something VOGUE Japan could learn from.
