サマソニにも出演した南アフリカ出身の3人組ラップ・レイヴ・グループ、ダイ・アントワード（DIE ANTWOORD）の「Evil Boy」が話題になってるではないか。PVを見てどう思うかは人それぞれ。個人的には、なぜだか気になる。”BAD BOY”丸出しなのは承知だが、こういったかたちでメッセージを発信する奇妙なこの3人。が、見よ、クオリティーは良い。歌詞だけ耳にすると言葉にしにくいが、なんだかダサかっこいい? … 紙一重だな。
I remember back in Summer lots of my friends were talking about seeing Die Antwoord at Summer Sonic, I didn’t know them and didn’t see them. Lots of people have been talking about their new video recently, ‘Evil Boy’ is the first and only track I’ve seen/heard from the South African group. It’s pretty surreal. They are like weird mix of So Solid Crew and N-Dubz. Pretty terrible. But I’ve watched the video so many times now… it’s good to come across something which is different, music videos are making a come-back. And this song is stuck in my head.
