「宇宙」から届いた「グッチ」の2017年秋冬広告ビジュアル。アメリカの人気TVシリーズ「スター・トレック」をはじめ、1950年〜60年代にかけてのB級SF映画にインスピレーションを得てレトロな未来が完成。はるか彼方の銀河系から撮影のために集結したヒューマノイド、エイリアン、ロボット、地球上の生物たち、クリエイティブ・ディレクター アレッサンドロ・ミケーレと共に未来にむけてすべきことを発信。視覚的刺激を受けたあの瞬間、フィルムのレトロさと強烈なイメージが頭から離れず、ワイルドで空想的な世界にぶっ飛んでしまった。
We’re blown away by Gucci‘s Fall/Winter 2017 campaign. An interplanetary sci-fi B-movie inspired set of images of epic proportion, Alessandro Michele’s Gucci continues to surprise and inspire as visualised by Photograher / Director Glen Luchford. In a messaged beamed down from planet Gucci, ‘this season the collection is transported to a parallel universe where a mixed cast of humanoids, aliens, robots and earthlings unite for the Gucci invasion from a galaxy far, far away.’. The contemporary romanticism of Michele’s Gucci makes perfect sense in this setting, the campaign is instantly iconic, the type that makes you want to buy magazines for so you have it in print. It’s been a while.
