昨年、12月24日に公開されたシンガーソングライター「加藤ミリヤ」からのクリスマスプレゼントは届いただろうか。2014年2月19日に発売される7枚目のオリジナルアルバム「LOVELAND」から先行限定シングルとして1月22日に「Love/Affection / 神様」両A面シングルがリリース。彼女のブログでは既に公開されている「Love/Affection」のMVが解禁（こちら）。
また、富永愛が初主演を勤める話題の日本テレビ連続ドラマ「オンナ♀ルール 幸せになるための50の掟」の主題歌に「Love/Affection」が決定。今回の撮影は、加藤ミリヤのクリエイティブチームを含むフォトグラファーのダン・ベイリー（TOKYODANDY）とタッグを組み完成した作品で、「人生を楽しむためにファッションを楽しむ」というミリヤの想いがこもった作品なのだ。スタイリスト、西村哲也による5ルックの衣装で異なるビジュアルを演出。ヘアーを担当したのはSHIMA原宿店ディレクター奈良裕也。
Since her debut in 2004, Kato Miliyah has continued to evolve as a Japanese Pop Artist. Her new video, ‘LOVE/AFFECTION’, marks what has become a transition from J-Pop Princess to a more stylish look, a natural progression for the star as she matures. TOYKO DANDY worked with Milyah and her Creative Team on the video for ‘LOVE/AFFECTION’ which was released as a Christmas Present to fans on December 24th. We assisted in the treatment and direction of the video with an eye to the styling by Tetsuya Nishimura and hair by Nara Yuya, creating a studio scene more akin to an editorial shoot then a typical J-Pop video. Look for more images and the behind the scenes story of ‘LOVE/AFFECTION’ in the upcoming issue of NYLON JAPAN.
‘LOVE/AFFECTION’ gets a physical release on January 22nd and is the first track from Miliyah’s forthcoming album ‘LOVELAND’ which will be released February 19th.
