TOKYO DANDY TEAM は最近、東京オペラシティアートギャラリーで開催してる蜷川実花展、“地上の花 天上の色”に行ってきた。
2007年に監督として、安野モヨコ原作の人気漫画「さくらん」を映画化し話題となり、写真家として国内外で活躍されてる。
今回のエクシビションでは、「旅」「花」「造花」「人物」「金魚」などをテーマにした写真がズラリとテーマごとに並んでる。勿論、代表作もあり、最新作、インスタレーション、さらにファッション広告も加え、写真家・蜷川実花の全貌がカラフル、大胆に紹介されてる。
少し デヴィッド・ラシャベル （David LaChappelle）の作品に似てるが、TOKYO DANDY TEAM は良い時間を過ごし、インスピレーションを受けた。
絶対足を運んだ方がいいだろう。

We recently attended the Mika Ninagawa retrospective at the Tokyo Opera City Gallery. Covering the artists entire career, the exhibition is as inspiring as it is colorful and you should definitely take a look. From fish and flowers to exotic portraits of the beautiful and the recognizable, the body of work created by Ninagawa is like an ultra-feminine part of David LaChappelle-land with a sensuous Far Eastern twist.
