カニエ・ウエストのスタンドアドバイザーとしても知られる、ヴァージル・アブローが、約3年ぶりに日本に上陸。今回の来日は、彼自身が手がける「OFFWHITE c/o VIRGIL ABLOH」2014年秋冬コレクションの販売開始に先駆けて、ラフォーレ原宿のGR8にてインストアパーティーが開催された。店内には2014年秋冬コレクションが展示されていたほか、この日のために用意された日の丸プリントの限定Tシャツ。これらの商品は本日より取扱いショップにて販売開始。今後は、以前から計画していたウィメンズのアパレルほか、家具や生活商品も展開していくとのこと。

Last night Harajuku’s GR8 select store played host to OFFWHITE’s VIRGIL ABLOH. The Desigenr and Creative Director’s in town to present his most recent collection, drop a limited edition T’Shirt in collaboration with GR8 and play at ANARCHY’s release party tonight at SOUND MUSEUM VISION. Guests at last nights instore event included United Arrow’s Poggy, Model Kozue Akimoto, C.E’s Toby, PHENOMENON’s Big O and bunch of OFFWHITE fans dressed head-to-toe in the stripe heavy brand. As a precursor of what’s going to go down tonight Virgil played back-to-back tracks with Revolver’s KIRI way beyond the scheduled end time.
