9月11日、ミート・パッキング地区にあるミルク・スタジオ（Milk Studios）にて「ジェレミー・スコット」2014年春夏コレクションが発表された。「Teenagers From Mars」をテーマにSMPTE（シンプティー）カラーバーを洋服に落とし込んだボディコンシェープのガールズたちが次々と登場。 テレビのモニターなどに必要不可欠なカラーバー。終盤、80年代のニューヨークを代表する画家の1人でもあるケニー・シャーフ（Kenny Scharf）とのコラボレーションプリントが登場。フロントロウには、ニッキー・ミナージュにヒルトン姉妹、エイサップ・ロッキー、テリー・リチャードソン、ジョナス・ブラザーズ、そして2NE1のCLの姿が。
6時間後、ハドソンホテルの地下にあるクラブ ‘GOOD UNITS’ を会場にアフターパーティーが開催された。DJ陣にはMISSHAPESにMAZURBATE、マドモアゼル・ユリアらと、会場は既に熱気で興奮に包まれていた。そして、待ちに待ったスペシャルゲストで登場したエイサップ・ロッキーのライブパフォーマンスは1時半を過ぎた頃だった。なんとアフター会場にはジェレミーとの交流も深いMIAの姿も。（ページ一番下写真）
Jeremy Scott’s Spring 2014 collection ‘Teenagers From Mars’ mixed 50’s Sci-fi B-movie style with modern body-con shapes to create a 21st Century pop-fashion Jetsons aesthetic. A print collaboration with Artist Kenny Scharf saw squiggles, blobs, ‘angry faces’ and cartoon sketches across one shoulder dresses, bikinis, swim suits with shirts and sweater set-ups for the boys. Opening the show and appearing on Jeremy’s highly anticipated collaboration with Longchamp were the bold SMPTE color bars originally used in the 70’s to test color on old TV sets – an instant icon. The hair and make-up struck a distinct ‘Mars Attacks’ Vibe which was also referenced in an ‘Earth Sucks’ slogan worn above what seemed to be a mock-croc skirt of some undefinable alien skin in vivid green. Front row was equally as colorful with Nicki Mianj, The Hilton sisters, ASAP ROCKY, Terry Richardson, The Jonas Brothers and 2NE1’s CL watching the show.
Later in the evening we headed to the after party at ‘GOOD UNITS’ (photos at the bottom of the page). The huge club space beneath the Hudson Hotel welcomed guests including CL & MIA were amongst celebrate Jeremy’s show with a live performance by ASAP ROCKY and a DJ set by The Misshapes – the perfect way to end New York Fashion Week for us.
