「NIKE AIR FORCE 1（ナイキ エア フォース 1」の30周年を記念したポップアップストア「THE PIVOT POINT（ザ・ピヴォット・ポイント」が渋谷の街に出現。
NIKE AIR FORCEといえば、90年代後半を思い出してしまう。全盛期だったあの頃。原宿のストリートはもちろん、横浜や地方のストリートでもNIKE AF1は定番だったはず。その頃といえば閉店後のショーウィンドウでダンスの練習をしていた若者も沢山いた。そんな彼らも足元はAF1だった気が。個人的には黒と白のハイカットを愛用していた。
それはさておき、ストアオープンを記念し12月8日（土）よりウィメンズモデルの「NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LIGHT HIGHT」など、期間中新しいAF1を販売するとのこと。また、デストロイヤー ジャケットやTシャツを当店にて購入された方に、限定のAF1オリジナルカスタマイズサービスを提供。

NIKE Air Force 1’s turn 30 this year. ‘The Anatomy of AF1’s’ short film below explains how from their inception in 1982 Air Force One’s were propelled by Urban America to Pop-Cultural Icon status. An Air Force 1 Pop-Up Store opened in Shibuya over the weekend, it celebrates the heritage of Air Force One’s with an installation of 30 other important cultural artifacts from the past 30 years including The Boom Box and the President’s Air Force One Boeing Aircraft (pictured below). ‘The Pivot Pint’ also sees NIKE look forward to the future of AF1’s with ‘The Future One’, Nike Lunar Force 1’s which are showcased with a swirling sculpture in the center of the store. Upstairs, visitors can customize their own Destroyer Jackets with the black and neon badges pictured below. A limited run of Black AF1 Foamposite pro low’s are available at the store which is open through until December 24th.
