VMAN Magazine
エディ・スリマン（Hedi Slimane）は、2008年秋発行の VMAN Magazine の表紙のために、ピティ・ライト（Petey Wright）を撮影した。Wright はフォード・モデル・コンテスト（Ford Model Contest）で勝ち、更に表紙スタイリングには、DAZED & CONFUSED の Creative Director でもある二コラ・フォルミケッティ（Nicola Formichetti）がスタイリングを担当。Wright は1000人もの有力候補を叩きのめしたのだ。雑誌の中を見てみると、カール・ラガーフェルド（Karl Lagerfeld）と、ガレス・ピュー（Gareth Pugh）の特集エディトリアルページがある。 It’s a great issue to help with the wait for VOGUE HOMME JAPAN! 春に、川久保玲×H&M とのエキサイティングなコレボレーション企画が発表された。日本が誇る川久保玲氏が手がけるアイテムが明らかになったので、ココでそのアイテムを少しご紹介。9月中旬に1号店銀座にオープン。11月上旬には、２号店原宿にオープン。日本以外での発売予定はその数日後となるそうだ。2009年秋にはH&Mの全てのコンセプトを取り揃えたショップを渋谷にオープンするとか。We can’t wait. 9月7日に行われる MTV AWARDS のために制作された、新コマーシャルにブリトニー・スピアーズ（Britney Spears）がゲストとして現れた。プレゼンターは、英国コメディアン、ラッセル・ブランド（Russell Brand）。そして、マドンナの”Sticky and Sweet” ツアーに使われるビデオにブリトニーが出演することが判明。撮影はエレベーター内でされたとか。Filmed be スティーヴン・クライン（Steven Klein） Britney Spears appears in new comericals for The MTV AWARDS which are taking place September 7th. The Kills Cancel Summer Sonic
2008年8月9日に何千人もの人達が幕張メッセ（SUMMER SONIC 08）にThe Killsの演奏を見るため現れ、待っていた。しかし、時間になってもThe Killsは現れず、お客さんは暑い中30分以上待たされていた。そこへ、アナウンスがあり“本日バンドは演奏できません”と会場中に流れた。その後、ヴォーカルのアリソン・モシャート(Allison Mosshart）がステージに上がり、ファンにドラムキットのプログラムがパソコンから消えてしまい演奏できないとおわびした。そんな中でも客は応援したが、これがもし、日本以外の国だったら確実に、山ほどのペットボトルがステージに投げつけられてただろう。Allison Mosshartは純粋に悲しそうで、申し訳なさそうにしていた。彼女はきっと会場に集まった人々と同じ気持ちで演奏したかったはずだ。The Killsは「パンク」で「ロック」なバンドだ。近いうち観てみたい。しかし、ギアなどが揃ってないから演奏できないって？バカげた理由だ。ジェイミー・ハインス（Jamie Hince）はどこにいたんだ？聞いた話だと前の日の夜に東京で泥酔いだったらしい。アリソン・モシャート（Allison Mosshart）のようにステージに上がって謝ることできなかったのか？日本で演奏する時にはもうちょっと真剣に考えた方がいい。ル・バロン（Le Baron）で飲んだり、クラブに招待されるために日本に来たのが理由じゃない。ファンだ。何を着るとか、どこで飲むとか悩んでないで音楽に集中せよ。せめて音楽を、音をもってこい。 Thousands of people gathered excitedly on Saturday to watch The Kills play the Sonic Stage at Summer Sonic at Makuhari Messe. “STICKY AND SWEET” Tour Costumes
マドンナ（Madonna）”Sticky and Sweet” ツアーがは8月22日に英国でスタートする。また、ツアーコスチュームのいくつかが明らかになった。下記のデザイン画はジバンシィ（Givenchy）のレディースライン・主任デザイナー、リカルド・ティッシ（Ricardo Tisci）他、ステラ・マッカートニー（Stella McCartney）ジェレミー・スコット（Jeremy Scott）らは世代の違うヤング・ダンサーたちのために、アクセサリーやツアーコスチュームをデザインしてくれたとか。 「マドンナより若いのは誰だ？」 — 「誰が８月16日で50歳だ？」 そして、今年後半アジア区間ツアー（日本含む）が発表されるだろうと噂されている。 Madonnas‘ “Sticky and Sweet” tour begins in the UK on August 22nd and some of the tour costumes have been revealed. 梶谷好孝:1977年千葉県出身、エスモードを2年で中退し、パリの服飾専門学校ステュディオベルソーに編入。卒業後は、CHANELやMADONNAの特注アクセサリーなどを手掛けていたオートクチュールアクセサリーデザイナー、エリック・アレー（Erik HALLEY）のアシスタントを経て帽子やジュエリーなどのデザインに目覚める。その後、パリのセレクトショップ、コレット（colette）に作品を持ち込んだのがきっかけで、「ヨシコ・クリエーション・パリ」でデビュー。その「ヨシコ クリエーション パリ（YOSHiKO☆CREATiON-PARiS）」が８月23日からラフォーレ原宿（Laforet Harajyuku）に初の直営店をオープン。 Jewelry designer Yoshiko Kajitani was Born 1977 in Chiba Prefecture.
