Beejoir
バンコクとイギリスを拠点に活動する1975年イギリス出身アーティスト、ビジョア（Beejoir）。アートに沸くイギリスにおいて Pictures on Wallsに次ぐ勢いのあるアートスタジオ「SOULED OUT STUDIOS」の看板アーティスト。日本でビジョア（Beejoir）といえば ”LV Child” が有名だが、欧米では ”Turin Scam” の方がエディション数も少なく高く評価されてる。どちらにしても、Beejoirのサイン入り作品はとても貴重だ。 イギリスのロンドンを中心に活動する覆面芸術家 バンクシー（Banksy）と同じ匂いがするような。彼は、グラフィティ・ストリートアートを世界各地にゲリラ的に描いたり、政治色の強いグラフィティを残したり、メトロポリタン美術館や大英博物館などの館内に、自らの作品を無許可で展示するなどのパフォーマンスにより、一部の人々からは「芸術テロリスト」と呼ばれたこともあるとか。街頭などへのディスプレイにこだわって芸術活動を行ってる。 下記3つの作品 「LV Child」「Clearly a Virgin」 「Shell Blood for Oil」。他、詳しくは。here… Beejoir.
