i-D and Dazed & Confused 2008
日本ではストリートファッションがスタイルとして高く評価されているが、「FRUiTS」や「TUNE」の雑誌で見るような人たちは、ここでは（ファッションシーン）とてもわずかな割合である。 ロンドンは、文体上導かれた運動が独創的で重要性を持つサブカルチャーを数十年にも渡り進行してきた場所であり、現在も変わらず進行している。 「DAZED & CONFUSED」 と 「i-D」 は、これらを代表する存在だろう。 日本版D&Cは、5分でパラパラッと見終わる一方、イギリス版D&Cは、絶えず素晴らしいエディトリアル制作、時に過激なスタイル、アートにおけるセンセーショナルで斬新な才能を認識し、･･･を紹介し、誰もが注目する。/･･･を探し/･･･数ヶ月後には知り、聞いてるだろう。 同様に、i-D誌はセックスとファッションを完璧なバランスで打ち出し、加えてそのイメージが読者に大きな影響を与えてるに違いない。 i-D & D&C、 年間通してそれぞれが提供してきたベストカバーを選ぶのは難しいが、私はマドンナ（Madonna）、グレイス・ジョーンズ（Grace Jones）＆レオナ・ルイス（Leona Lewis）、マライア・キャリー（Mariah Carey）、そして、菊地凛子を選ぶだろう。ちなみに日本人がi-D Magazine の表紙に起用されたのは、04年 栗山千明（女優）以来だ。 2008年 「DAZED & CONFUSED」 & 「i-D」 Magazine、あなたの選ぶベストカバーは？？ Whilst Japan is held in high regard for it’s street fashion and style, the people you see in “Fruits” and “Tune” magazine are a very small percentage of…

Bruce Weber in L’Uomo Vogue
1980年代初頭、世界初ともいえる男性モデルのヌード写真をカルバン・クラインの広告キャンペーンに初めて起用したフォトグラファー ブルース・ウェーバー。お気に入りのフォトグラファーでもある彼が、L’ Uomo Vogue のために100ページにもわたるウェーバーストーリー提供。主にマイアミで撮影されたアーカイブの写真と新作の写真を彼の独特なコラージュで表現している。 These beautiful photos are part of a 100-page editorial Bruce weber has put together for the current issue of L’Uomo Vogue. The piece profiles Miami, and is made up of old and new shots from Weber’s collection, many displayed in his distinctive collage style.
