Jil Sander for UNIQLO 「+J」
ユニクロ（UNIQLO）×ジルサンダー（Jil Sander）の新コレクション「+J（プラス ジェイ）」の価格帯と発売日が発表された。日本での発売日は、中国・韓国・香港と同じ日で2009年10月2日。また、アメリカとイギリスでは10月1日からの発売となる。価格帯だが通常のユニクロ価格とほぼ変わらず、大型店を中心とした約90店とインターネットでの取り扱いとか。 Here’s the first look at the Jil Sander for Uniqlo collection which is to launch in Japan October 2nd. The pieces will be available at the standard Uniqlo price which means global demand will be huge when the line launches globally later in October.

Each is surrounded by iconic motifs and symbols from their careers on the bags which are available from the hint mag store.

先日仕事の都合で大阪を訪れた時の一枚。フォトグラファー、ダン・ベイリー（Dan Bailey）。大阪に新しくオープンするマーク by マーク ジェイコブス（Marc by Marc Jacobs）心斎橋店。 Dan from Tokyo Dandy had an amazing time in Osaka over the weekend and met some lovely people (more photos soon). Couldn’t help but notice this Marc by Marc Jacobs store in Shinsaibashi which is set to open August 28th.

GARETHE PUGH FILM BY NICK KNIGHT
待ってました！！！ ニック・ナイト（Nick Knight）をディレクターに迎えてガレス・ピュー（Gareth Pugh）とのフィルムがSHOWSTUDIO に掲載されている。題して、「FRIEZE」。このフィルムは、2006年に撮られたi-D Magazine のエディトリアルを使用し、新たにフィルムとして制作したものだ。そう、ガレス・ピューはデザイン活動はもう何年も前から行っているが、デビューはたったの3年前の2006A/Wロンドンファッションウィークだ。イギリス、サンダーランド生まれの彼は、サンダーランド大学を経てセントマーチンズに入学し洋服の基礎を学んでいたのだ。卒業コレクションではバルーン型のデザインを発表し注目を集めていた。その後は、リック・オウエンス（Rick Owens）などでアシスタントを経験し一躍ハイ・ブランドの仲間入りってわけだ。要するに、ビックリするほどトントン拍子にきてるということ。このフィルムも彼本人のキャリアを表している。スタイリングには、ニコラ・フォルミケッティ（Nicola Formichetti）。check it out … HERE !!!
