YUIMA NAKAZATO 2011 S/S

以前も紹介した（HERE.）中里唯馬（YUIMA NAKAZATO）の2011年春夏コレクションが、10月19日国立代々木第一体育館にて発表された。そう、ヨーロッパで数々の賞を受賞し、セレブリティーやアーティストへの衣装デザインで注目を集め2009年に日本へ帰国したのだ。東京での発表はこれが初めてとか。テーマは「未来の人間」とのこと。

We first mentioned Yuima Nakazato as a young designer to watch earlier this year (here). Nakazato returned to Japan from Europe this past collection season to show his S/S ’11 collection. The Yoyogi 1st gymnasium was our favorite venue during japan fashion week, Nakazato made great use of the dramatic space in his show. Corset clad male models signified a ‘new gender’, ‘the man of the future’ as Nakazato describes it. Make sure to watch the video to appreciate the collection.
