VERBAL & YOON が手がけるジュエリーブランド「AMBUSH®」初の旗艦店＝1号店「AMBUSH® WORKSHOP」が、9月2日渋谷の街にオープンした。
店内をあえて覗くことのできない造りに、設計を担当したのは、空間コンセプトを構築するWONDERWALLの片山正通氏で、シンプルでクリーンなスペースが尖ったアンブッシュのジュエリーたちに花を咲かせる。オープンを祝して開催された前日のお披露目では、多くのメディア陣が足を運び進化するアンブッシュの世界観に魅了されていた。
最高のおもてなし、丁寧に手入れされた樹齢数百年の樹木や渡り鳥の姿を見ることができる日本庭園。そう、白金台の八芳園で開催された「アンブッシュ・ワークショップ」オープニングパーティー。会場にはVERBAL & YOONの親交の深いHIRO（LDH代表取締役）、片山正通（インテリアデザイナー）、NIGO、阿部千登勢（デザイナー）、ローラ（モデル・タレント）、G-DRAGON（BIGBANG）、CL & DARA（2NE1）、EXILE、J Soul Brothers、GENERATIONS、PKCZ、RAMPAGE、Crystal Kayと多くの著名人が駆けつけたほか、東京のユースたちも大集結。ヒップホップ騒ぎで会場を盛り上げていたのは、JOMMY、NO VACANCY、KINGMCK ＋82のコリアンクルーたち。
改めて、「AMBUSH® WORKSHOP」1号店無事オープンおめでとうございます！

The AMBUSH® WORKSHOP opened Friday September 2nd in Tokyo with a pre-celebration taking place the night before. A preview of the Masamichi Katayama designed space for select press and guests proceeded an AMBUSH® takeover of the Edo-era Happoen garden and grounds for a party that united top industry figures, entertainment superstars and a healthy dose of Tokyo’s youth. The contrast between the traditional space and AMBUSH®’s contemporary design was highlighted with neon and lasers pulsating to music provided by JOMMY, NO VACANCY’s Tremaine & A-side and KINGMCK with the +82 crew. A modern take on a Japanese Summer Festival outside featured a shooting range, psychedelic cotton candy and alcohol laced kakigori. Party goers cooled down with AMBUSH® branded fans amongst the bamboo of Happoen’s traditional Japanese garden.
AMBUSH®’s VERBAL and YOON welcomed guests including EXILE’s HIRO, wonderwall’s Masamichi Katayama, NIGO, ROLA, Chitose Abe (sacai), G-Dragon (Big Bang), CL and DARA from 2NE1 and members of EXILE, Sandaime J-Soul Brothers, GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE, PKCZ and RAMPAGE from Exile Tribe.
