「It’s My Time」GLOBAL CASTING COMPETITION by BENETTON
世界120ヵ国に進出するイタリアのアパレルブランド、ベネトン（Benetton）が初のワールド・ワイド・キャンペーンを出動。どういうことかと言うと、「It’s My Time」と題されたタイトルに、初の超未来系オンライン・キャスティング・オーディションを行うということだ。異なる言語や文化が一つになるWebを「オーディション会場」として、次世代の「ベネトンの顔」を地球上の様々な場所から大々的に募集ということ。このオーディションに選び抜かれた20人のファイナリストたちは、その後ニューヨークにて、ユナイテッド・カラーズ・オブ・ベネトンの2010-2011年秋冬コレクションの広告キャンペーンモデルとして、フォトグラファー、ジョッシュ・オリンズ（Josh Olins）のディレクションにて撮影が行われるとのこと。 キャンペーンタイトル：It’s My Time 期間：2010年2月9日 – 3月16日 WEBSITE：Benetton CLICK HERE. 当選者発表：2010年3月18日予定

Christian Louboutin opens in Ginza
高級シューズブランドと言えばクリスチャン・ルブタン（Christian Louboutin）。そうあのルブタンの日本初となる直営店が銀座松屋2階に本日オープン。オープンを記念に初となるメンズシューズの展開もあり、2月22日までの期間ルブタンカラーで知られる赤のライトアップが全面に演出されているとか。ルブタンファンは是非足を運ぶべし。click HERE. Shoe maker of the moment, Christian Louboutin, opened his first store in Japan today. The store-in-store is located within the Matsuya Department Store in Ginza. 明日開催されるステファノ・ピラーティによるイヴ・サンローラン2010年秋冬コレクションお披露目に向けて、ブルース・ウェバーと共にと7分間のショートフィルムを制作。題して「Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing」。下記写真は、撮影の合間に撮られた一枚。 Designer Stefano Pilati asked acclaimed photographer Bruce Weber to shoot and direct the opening film for the Yves Saint Laurent A/W 2010 collection that debuts later today in Paris. “Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing” will be 7 minutes in length.
