ウォルター・グリヨン – Chief Designer 1986年ブラジル生まれ。 サンパウロ大学で映画を専攻後、舞台を中心に新人俳優に歌や演技を通じてコンテンポラリー・パフォーマンスを指導。2007年に初来日、日本のファッションの在り方に感銘を受ける。折しも2007 年は、ブラジルの最新ファッションを日本に紹介するイベント「ブラジル・ファッション・ナウ」が東京で開催されるなど、ファッション産業を通じて両国のパートナーシップが本格化し始めた頃。日本へのインスピレーション・トリップを機に、翌年には創作の拠点を東京に移す。2009年、自身の名を冠したブランド「GRIAÕ」を設立。1930年代のニューヨークを拠点に活躍したモデル・写真家、そしてマン・レイのミューズでもあったリー・ミラーへのオマージュコレクションで2010年春夏よりデビュー。 Walter Griaõ – Chief Designer Born 1986 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Walter Griaõ (gree-on) studied film theory at Sao Paulo University.
