第3回「LVMH Young Fashion Designer Prize」2016年度のファッションコンテストの開催が発表されたと同時に、過去最多4組の日本人デザイナーが選出された。
ファイナリストの23組が発表され日本人デザイナー「FACETASM」、「MIKIO SAKABE」と「Shueh Jen-Fang」、東京ニューエイジの「Soshi Otsuki」、ITSのファッション部門でOTB Awardを受賞した「KOIKE」の4組が日本からノミネート。セミファイナリストは、パリ・ファッション・ウィーク期間中の3月2日〜3日、LVMHの本社でコレクション審査員の前で発表が予定されている。受賞者は夏に発表予定。
The semi-finalists for the 2016 round of LVMH’s prestigious Design Prize have been announced with Japanese talent well represented amongst the 23 brands selected. Our personal favourites Mikio Sakabe and Facetasm joining Soshi Otsuki and Koike. The eight finalists will be selected by LVMH’s panel of experts on March 2 and March 3 in Paris with the winner being selected by a jury of LVMH designers at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris on June 16.
