MIXING at ASBZ ZERO TOKYO

MIXING at ASBZ, Club Zero, last week.

Club Zero is a megalithic new club spread over four basement floors of the Kabukicho Tower entertainment and hotel complex that opened in April. Seemingly part of a ploy for Kabukicho to replace Shibuya as the heart of Tokyo nightlife. The TokyU-fication of Tokyo. I was glad to have the chance to check out play and photograph a new space but will continue to err towards the independent, tribalistic elements of nightlife and culture, like the MIXING party when it’s held in Shibuya. Thanks to Yuki and Taro for inviting me.
