独学で服作りを学んできた宮下貴裕（Takahiro Miyashita）氏が抱える東京発のパリコレブランド、Number(N)ine（ナンバーナイン）が2009－10年秋冬シーズンをもってブランドを脱退することが明らかになった。 デザイナーの宮下氏は、96年5月、NEPENTHES（ネペンテス）で企画・プレスを勤め、その後独立。ブランド名の由来は、ビートルズ（The Beatles）の名曲「レボリューション・ナイン（Revolution #9）」からというのは有名な話だ。 脱退の理由については、「体調不良のため」ということだ。 日本の代表ブランドとして、何らかの形でファッション業界に戻ってくることを願う。 Last week Japanese Brand Number (N)ine announced through a letter to Hint Magazine that the brand would be closing. このクールなショットはDJ DARUMAをデザイナーに迎えスタートしたジャパニーズブランドROC STAR。 東京より世界のインディーダンスミュージックとリンクしながらPOPでノリを重視したアイテムを展開し、”New Wave Techno & Kung-Fu” と名付けられ登場。モデルには、リボルバー（Revolver）& フェノメノン（Phenomenon）クルー。 These cool new campaign shots are from the Spring/Summer Roc Star Collection which has been named “New Wave Techno & Kung-Fu” collection due to its tatse and influences. Designed by DJ Daruma, the Japanese brand uses models from both Revolver and Phenomenon.
