BARNEY’S NEW YORK (GINZA,TOKYO) ‘POP CLASSICO HOLIDAY!’ WINDOWS WITH YUMI MATSUTOYA
シンガーソングライターのユーミンこと松任谷由実がバーニーズ ニューヨークのコラボレーション企画「Have a POP CLASSICO HOLIDAY」でウィンドウディスプレイに登場。初日の11月11日には、銀座店の開店時にユーミン本人がサプライズで登場しドアマンを勤めた様子。銀座店を皮切りに、新宿店、横浜店、神戸店、福岡店と順次披露される。コンサートステージのようなユーミンの世界観をチェックするべし。 J-pop Singer/songwriter Yumi Matsutoya has collaborated with Barney’s New York here in Japan for their Holiday windows. DISNEY & BARNEY’S NEW YORK PRESENT ‘ELECTRIC CHRISTMAS’
「Electric Holiday」と名付けたウォルト・ディズニー・カンパニー（Walt Disney Company）と米バーニーズニューヨークによるホリデームービーが公開された。ファッションを夢見るミニーマウス。米バーニーズ・ニューヨークのウィンドウディスプレイに見とれてしまったミニーマウスは、フランス・パリ・ファッション・ウィークへ。ホテルロビーでサラ・ジェシカ・パーカーと対話するミニー・マウスとドナルドダック。フロントロウにはブライアン・ボーイにスージー・メンケス、レディ・ガガ、ダフネ・ギネス、カリーヌ・ロワトフェルド、ナオミ・キェンベル、リンダ・エヴァンジェリスタ、隣にはピーター・パンに登場するフック船長の姿までもが。さらにミッキー・マウスをはじめディズニーキャラクターが勢揃いしランウィに登場。 Disney and Barney’s New York have teamed up this holiday season to present ‘Electric Christmas’, an animation piece featuring Disney characters alongside some of fashion’s key players. THE VIRGINS FOR BARNEYS NEW YORK
バーニーズニューヨーク（Barneys New York）の’09年春夏カタログに、ダウンタウンから誕生した4人組みのバンド ザ・ヴァージンズ（The Virgins）のメンバーがモデルとして抜擢された。彼らの他にはモデルのジョシュ・ビーチ（Josh Beech）、コール・モーアー（Cole Mohr）らも起用されている。 Barneys New York is using the American band The Virgins to model key menswear looks for their Spring/Summer 2009 catalogue. Josh Beech and Cole Mohr are the two models featured in the shoot. The Virgins will be at Fuji Rock 2009!
