CHANEL 125th Anniversary Coin
デザイナーのカール・ラガーフェルド（Karl Lagerfeld）が、ココ・シャネル（Coco Chanel）誕生125周年を記念した5ユーロ硬貨をデザインした。 硬貨表面にはココ・シャネルの横顔が、裏面にはもっとも人気だった香水 CHANEL 5 の”5”が配され、そのうち金の特別硬貨は99枚限定で、計11.099枚の硬貨が発行される。 2008年12月1日発売スタート。 Karl Lagerfeld has designed these 5 EURO coins to mark the 125th anniversary of the birth of Coco Chanel. The number 5 was chosen due to the popularity of Chanel’s No.5 perfume. 99 gold and 11,900 silver pieces will be available from December 1st.

シャネル（CHANEL）ファンにはたまらないこの映画、ココ・シャネル（COCO CHANEL）の伝記映画、主演オドレイ・トトゥ（Audrey Tatou）、現在製作中。この映画は、エドモンド・シャルル・ルー（Edmonde Charles-Roux）が執筆した “L’Irreguliere ou mon itineraire Chanel” を墓に映画化するもの。映画の中で使用される衣装は、全てカールが指揮することになってる。一部、映画用に制作される衣装もあるとか。 Chanel fans will be interested to know that a Coco Chanel biopic starring Audrey Tatou is currently in production. The movie will focus on the first part of the iconic designers life – before she entered the world of fashion. Let’s hope it will be…
