常識という意味を持つ「commons&sense man」誌の最新号「PUNK ROCK ISSUE」が、昨日9月27日に発売された。本誌ページでは、東京を代表する”ストリートクチュール”ブランドLOOKSに、ザ・レインコーツ（The Raincoats）のスペシャルインタビューなど。また、忘れてはならない、前回よりスタートしたTOKYODANDYの連載ページ。今回は、PUNK特集ということで、「音楽とファッションの関係性」、そして、ナイトクラブとファッションの融合。題して、「STYLE＋MUSIC＝SUBCULTURE」。「スティーヴィー・ワンダーのような音楽のおかげで乗り切れただ。」と言うファレル・ウィリアム（Pharrell Williams）。「ORNAMENT BOY」と題されたYUYA NARAによるページ。盛り沢山な「commons&sense man」最新号。check it out. 美意識の高いメンズへ向けたファッション誌「commons&sense man 」の新号が今月の27日に発売されると同時に、もっとも気になる表紙フォトが。そう、表紙に起用された人物とは「永遠の天才デザイナー」アレキサンダー・マックイーン（Alexander McQueen）だった。2月に眠りについてしまったマックイーンを思い、commons&senseエディターたちは彼の違うアングルルックを表紙に飾ったのだ。写真左が2009年の秋冬号で、写真右が今月の27日に発売される新号表紙だ。こういったかたちでファッション誌の表紙に同一人物を同じかたちで登場させるのは初めてではないだろうか。なんだか、目には見えないとてもソフトな気持ちが心にしみる。 With Alexander McQueen’s passing this year, his beaming smile on the the cover of the A/W issue of Commons&Sense MAN magazine (above left) gained great poignancy.
