MADONNA ‘CELEBRATION’ Greatest Hits Collection
‘CELEBRATION’ will be the final release from Madonna with Warner records. The career spanning 2CD hits cd will include two new songs, one of which, also named ‘Celebration’, will be released to radio next week. グレイテストヒットアルバム『Celebration』の発売が現地時間の7/22に正式に発表されました。発売は9/28に決定です。 ＜プレスリリース内容＞ 「ビルボードのポップチャートにおいて37曲のトップ10ヒット、そして最新の4枚を含む7枚のNo.1アルバムを持っているマドンナが、彼女の音楽の業績を讃える（celebrate）ための別の機会をファンに与えてくれました。本日、Warner Bros.レコードは、究極のベストアルバム『Celebration』を9月28日に発売することを正式に発表いたします。『Celebration』に収録される全ての曲はリマスターされ、マドンナと彼女のファンによって選曲されました。「Everybody」「Express Yourself」「Vogue」「4 Minutes」を含むヒット曲を余すことなく収録しています。『Celebration』は2枚組のアルバムのほかに、シングルCDも発売されます。また同時にDVD『Celebration』も発売となり、これまでに発売されたDVDに未収録の映像を含む、最高の映像が収録されます。アルバム『Celebration』には最近、ニューヨークでレコーディングをおこなった新曲が2曲収録されます。マドンナとPaul Oakenfoldの共同プロデュースの「Celebration」というタイトルのファーストシングルが8月3日に発売されます。DVD『Celebration』に収録されるこの曲のビデオは、イタリアのミラノで撮影され、これまでにもマドンナとコラボレートしてきたJonas Akerlundが監督をおこなっています。「Celebration」のダンスクラブミックスのいくつかは7月24日からクラブでプレイされる予定です。またこの曲はCD、そしてアナログ盤としても発売されます。ラジオでは8月3日よりエアプレイが開始となります。『Celebrate』のジャケットは「throwing modern cultural icons into a blender and turning it up to eleven」でよく知られている、ストリートポップアーティストの“Mr.…

Madonna ‘Sticky and Sweet’
マドンナ（Madonna）の”Sticky and Sweet’” ツアーが7月4日にロンドンで再スタート。新しいジバンシークチュールの衣装に身を包んだマドンナは、前回と比べ更にパワーアップ。衣装、パフォーマンス、ダンス、全てがパーフェクトだ。また、マイケル・ジャクソン（Michael Jackson）の死後「悲しすぎて、何時間も涙が止まらなかった。」とマドンナは言った。そんなマドンナがマイケル・ジャクソンへとメッセージを込めたパフォーマンスをロンドンで行うとか。TOKYO DANDY TEAM は今でもマドンナが日本にくることを願っている。 The 2nd leg of Madonna’s ‘Sticky and Sweet’ tour kicks off in london tonight with a couple of changes. マドンナ（Madonna）とスティーブン・マイゼル（Steven Meisel）が一緒に仕事するようになって、かれこれ10年以上もの日が経過している。そう、前回に引き続きマドンナがルイ・ヴィトン（Louis Vuitton）のキャンペーンに抜擢されたことで話題となっているが、正直、あまりにもオリジナルから程遠い仕上がりになっているので、マドンナのファンたちによって出てきたものかと思ってしまった。この写真は、20世紀の現代美術をリードしたアーティスト マン・レイ（Man Ray）の作品にインスパイアされたとか。 Madonna teams up with long time collaborator Steven Meisel for her second season as the face of Louis Vuitton. Dolce & Gabbana Menswear F/W 09/10
スティーブン・クライン（Steven Klein）が、ドルチェ＆ガッパーナ（DOLCE & GABBANA）09/10年秋冬キャンペーンのため、シャッターを切りおろした。今回モデルにフューチャされたのは、マドンナのボーイフレンドとして知られるジーザス・ルス（Jesus Luz）と、ドルガバ常連モデルのデイビッド・ギャンディー（David Gandy）、ノア・ミルズ（Noah Mills）、そして、アダム・セン（Adam Senn）らだ。撮影場所はブルックリンにあるグリーソンズ・ジム（Gleason’s Gym）というところで、豪華メンバーが日常的に通い汗を流しているとか。中でも有名なムハマド（Mohammad）やマイク・タイソン（Mike Tyson）らも使用している。また、スティーブン・クラインのミューズとしても知られるマドンナの「”Sticky and Sweet”スティッキー＆スウィート・ツアー」でも、ボクシングをテーマにしたビデオが制作されている（下記ビデオ）。 Steven Klein shot the Fall/Winter campaign for DOLCE & GABBANA. 以前取り上げた、ルイ・ヴィトン（Louis Vuitton）09年春夏キャンペーンの撮影風景を紹介。マドンナ（Madonna）が起用され話題となった、あのルイ・ヴィトン。勿論、クリエイティブ・ディレクターであるマーク・ジェイコブス（Marc Jacobs）の様子もみえる。 ワールドツアーも無事に終了し、一段落したマドンナ。日本ではマドンナ初監督作「ワンダーラスト」が話題になってる。そんなマドンナが、今年の8月か9月に95％の確率で日本に訪れると噂になってる。そう、アジアツアー。期待するTOKYO DANDY TEAM !!
