ニューヨークに続き、ロンドン、ミラノ、そしてパリといった順番でファッションウィークが開催されるなか、プラダ（Prada）「アイコンクラス”Iconclasts”」ビジュアルマーチャンダイジング（VMD）の興味深い新たなステップが順調に進んでるではないか。この企画はプラダ社が選ぶ4人のトップ人物が、VMDを担当することになっている。 ニューヨーク エリアでは、米W誌のファッション ディレクターを務めるアレキサンドラ・ホワイト（Alexandra White）、ロンドン エリアでは、スタイリスト兼エディターで「LOVE」誌編集長を勤めるケイティー・グランド（Katie Grand）。ミラノ エリアでは、スタイリスト、オリバー・リッツッォ（Oliver Rizzio）。そして、パリ エリアでは、PARIS VOGUE編集長を勤めるカリーヌ・ロワトフェルド（Carine Roitfeld）によって各都市のプラダの路面店がリメイクされていく。 もし、東京にこの企画が流れてきたら、誰が選ばれるだろうか？ Prada “Iconclasts” is an interesting new step in Visual Merchandising. ミラノ・コレクションでのトラブル。ヒールの高いヘビ皮プラットフォーム・サンダルを履いたモデルが、ウォーキング中に狭いルートから外れ転んでしまうというアクシデント。ブランドはプラダ（PRADA）。モデルがウォーキング中に転んでしまうということよりも、LOOK下記写真、こっちの方がとても深刻な問題だと思う。 Milan fashion week – at least 3 models had trouble strutting their stuff for Prada, taking tumbles on the catwalk. But to us, starvation is more of a serious issue than high heels.
