It’s taken from the new issue of VMAGAZINE where leaders in the fields of fashion and music were asked to nominate future talents, Nicola Formichetti nominating Nakazato for ‘Best Dress-up’. It’s an obvious choice for the stylist who shares a similar aesthetic to the 25 designer, a graduate of the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Yuima Nakato’s S/S 2011 ‘New Gender’ collection caused a lot of buzz during the last Japan Fashion Week (video here).
