I’m thrilled to be in L.A. for the weekend to attend the global launch of the new Marni for H&M collection that will be going on sale worldwide from March 8th and in Japan March 10th. Sophia Coppola is hosting a small party for 150 guests at a house in the Hollywood Hills together with Marni Designer Consuelo Catigilioni and H&M Creative Director Margareta Van Den Bosch. また、テート・モダン（ロンドン）で行われている「Yayoi Kusama」展は、2012年2月8日よりルイ・ヴィトンのサポートにより6月5日まで開催されている。

Louis Vuitton have launched an official website to promote the launch of their collaboration with Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. Profiling the artist in 12 languages, this looks set to be Vuitton’s biggest collaboration yet, the fashion house has previously worked with Stephen Sprouse, Takashi Murakami and Richard Prince.

To celebrate the relaunch of the Vogue Paris website last week, editor Emmanuelle Alt and her fellow editors were joined by an audience of models to lip-sync through Wham’s classic ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go GO’. The video is much loved amongst the online fashion community. Maybe I’m an old bore but I don’t think it’ very Parisian Vogue or fashion, I’d struggle to see Carine Roitfeld doing this. It’s a lot of fun but I don’t understand this cult of personality where everyone seems to feel the need to put themselves out there.

CONGRATULATIONS TO MADONNA AND TEAM!!!

Madonna was the half time entertainment at this years Super Bowl in Indianapolis, and entertain she did. With 8 minutes to set up the stage, 12 minutes to perform and 7 minutes to take the stage back down before the 3rd quarter began, it was a race against time to put in the best performance possible. Over 115 millions viewers were watching in the US with a further billion worldwide set to see the spectacle. Entering the stadium with a nod to Elizabeth Taylors grand entrance to Rome from the movie Cleopatra, the message was obvious, ‘The Queen is back’. She was wearing GIVENCHY Haute Couture with a hat by Philip Traecy, boots by Miu Miu and jewelry by Bulgari. With back up support that included roman soldiers, cheer leaders, her own dancers (dressed in Jeremy Scott for Adidas during Music!), LFMAO, Nicki Minaj, MIA and Cee Lo Green, there was no mistaking who was the star of the show. She may have seemed nervous at the start and wobbled a couple of times but this was the best half-time show ever. The Queen of pop even made time to laugh at herself “I work out’, whilst giving a cheeky wink to janet jacksons wadrobe malfunction looking mock shocked as her backing dancers removed part of her skirt just before new single ‘Give me all you luvin’. – and the best promotion for Madonna’s up-coming tour which is set to be announced within the next couple of days.

The biggest argument against Madonna online and in the press is that she is to old to be doing what she’s doing. This is ageist and misogynistic. I think it’s amazing that anyone can be at the top of their game for so long. There is only one Madonna and no matter how many people have said she’s un-talented or over in her almost 30 year she’s kept coming back and doing what she believes in. That’s inspirational. Congratulations to Madonna and team!

3月8日（日本3月10日）にローンチされる「Marni at H&M」のキャンペーンフィルムが公開された。監督には … ご存知ソフィア・コッポラを迎えソフィアらしいミューズを起用したスペシャルコラボレーション。気になるミューズは、イギリス出身の女優イモージェン・プーツ（Imogen Poots）。とにかく映画SOMEWHERE的な雰囲気を醸し出している。まさにコッポラワールド。サウンドにはこれぞ演出してくれるロキシー・ミュージック（Roxy Music）の名曲「Avalon（アヴァロン）」。

Marni at H&M is the highly anticipated collaboration collection which will be released on March 8th worldwide and MArch 10th in Japan. Film Director Sophia Coppola, whom we know is a fan of H&M and her collaborations from meeting her at the Lanvin loves H&M show in 2010 and at the Versace show in 2010 (both in New York). This time round Coppola has directed the short film clip above that celebrates the collection with Roxy’s ‘Avalon’ playing in the background, not unlike a scene from her last movie ‘Nowhere’. Filmed on location in Marrakesh, Morocco the film appears to feature a group transported from Brooklyn wearing the MARNI at H&M clothes in the North African location.

Two of Japans most recognizable names from different sides of the same industry are coming together for UNIQLO x UNDERCOVER. Launching March 16th with the opening of a UNIQLO flag ship store in GINZA, looks from the collection were revealed in the above photos released in the past few days. The collection will be available in 11 countries world wide, all of which share the March 16th Launch Day.
