ナイキ、アディダス、プーマ、リーボックとスポーツブランドのシンボルとも言えるロゴに施した花の刺繍たち、1度は目にしたことあるだろう。そう、フジロック出演のため東京に来日していたビョークのヘッドピースも彼の作品なのだ。

Artist James T Merry announced through his instagram that he will be at Daikanayma Tsutaya Thursday August 3rd ‘for embroidering live and signing some new limited edition prints, postcards & tshirts’.
Merry first came to our attention through his pieces juxtaposing brand names with exquisite embroidered flowers. He has been working with Bjork for the past 6 years, crafting ethereal art-piece headwear and masks perfect for the Icelandic beat-making-earth-mother. It was Merry that Made Bjorks ‘vocal cord headpiece’ she wore for Fuji Rock 2017last weekend.
